More Information

Description

Built in October of 1970, this 1971 model had two previous owners, the last ownership spanned 20 plus years. Used as a seasonal car, much of this car is original including its blue soft top. A re-paint was performed in its original factory medium blue color prior to last ownership thus showing its age. This Pagoda is free of rust even though it lived in Connecticut for the summers. Chassis and body panels are free of any corrosion or damage. There is no signs of any bodywork being performed on this car and retains all the factory weld spots and style lines. The engine and transmission are both matching numbers and have had all services including a complete refurbishment of the injection system done this year at which time the exhaust was replaced from the manifold back. A brake system service including new pads and rotors was also performed as was the replacement of the shocks/struts,battery,thermostat and the windshield washer pump. The ignition system was also serviced with new distributor cap, rotor, points, wires and spark plugs. On the interior the car sports new wood trim on the dash and center console all installed in May of this year. the dash and "A" pillar trim was redone in factory vinyl. This car is solid and mechanically sound! We encourage pre purchase inspections "PPI" and are available Monday thru Saturday for showing. You will be hard pressed to find a better 4 speed manual at this price! Tools and original owners manuals included.
