1968 Mercedes-Benz 250sl California Coupe in 450G "Dark Maroon" with Dark Brown leather interior. Believed to have 64501 original miles based on its history, mechanical condition and long time ownership. This two owner car was purchased by the second owner from the original in New York; 25 plus years ago. Shortly there after it was brought to Florida were it resided most of its life, being driven sparingly. During its second ownership it was repainted in its original color. The paint shows wonderfully well with excellent integrity. Interior was completely redone less than a year ago with new loop carpeting, leather upholstery and new wood trim. New seat belts and sun visors were added in June of this year. The car comes with new Coco mats and a second pair of plush carpets, also new. Tool kit is complete and still has original spare tire. Engine bay has been kept original with all the components working as they should. Current on all services and maintenance including new brakes and tires. Engine is strong with excellent compression. Transmission shifts smoothly up and down, including last down shift that is rough on most pagodas if they have the venturi out of adjustment. Maintains a running temperature of 180 degrees in Florida heat. Zero rust and no previous bodywork with all original weld points and body-style markings. Car comes with original books.
