  • We have for sale an exquisite 1967 Chevrolet Corvette C2 convertible in Goodwood Green with rich Saddle interior. One of only 336 convertibles produced with the L79 engine and factory air conditioning. Built January 18, 1967 at the A.O. Smith factory in Ionia Missouri and assembled January 30, 1967 in St. Louis this "Sting Ray" was heavily optioned with  (L79) 327ci/350hp engine, (A01) Soft Ray Windows, (A85) Shoulder Harness, (C60) Factory Air Conditioning, (G81) Positraction Rear Axle all ratios, (J50) Power Disc Brakes, (M21) 4-Speed Manual Close Ratio, (N40) Power-Assisted Steering and (P89) Cast Aluminum Bolt on Wheels. This excellent example of the iconic American Muscle car was purchased by the current owner in August of 2017 from Vintage Vettes in Kansas city Missouri. Immediately after purchase it was taken to Gerry Yursis of Thunder Valley Garage to be sorted and brought to NCRS standard. Part of this work included rebuilding the transmission, replacing the clutch and bellhousing (with the correct "403" stamping), installing the correct advance tube, a correct master cylinder, painting the jack/handle and replacing the carburetor amongst other details. Just over two thousand miles have been put on this show stopper since completion. A complete and thorough documentation binder will come with the car and is available for review for any serious buyer. Meticulously maintained and properly sorted, this Corvette must be seen to fully grasp its superb condition.
